For three days (27th-29th May), the International Congress PRISMA (Language and Artificial Intelligence. Linguistic approaches and interdisciplinary challenges) has been held at the University of Santiago de Chile. Two members of our team in Spain, Carmen González Gómez and Helena Sofía Belío Apaolaza (General Linguistics, University of Salamanca), have led a communication about the pragmatic competence of ChatGPT, understanding irony, and COMMUNIKITE’s main goals.
