Training activities

The training activities aim to bring together leading experts and generate an academic and social debate involving the research community, mediating organizations working with refugees and the general public.

In the first workshop, participants will receive training on how to approach teaching foreign languages to absolute beginners (level 0).

The second workshop will instruct participants in cultural and linguistic mediation, a very relevant topic given the increase in contact between different languages and cultures in Europe – and the potential conflicts that this may entail.

The workshops contribute to the overall objectives of the project in that they stimulate scientific discussion on methodologies of language support for refugees, foster exchange between experts in the field and raise awareness among the general public of the importance of addressing the language needs of the immigrant community.

  POITIERS TRAINING

Two international mobility grants of the Erasmus+ COMMUNIKITE Project (2023-1-ES01-KA220-HED-000153956) are available for training courses at the University of Poitiers for teaching and research staff. The training visits will take place from 3rd – 5th December 2024 in accordance with the programme established by the aforementioned institution on the theme “Cultural and linguistic mediation”.

Workshop program

 BOLOGNA TRAINING

Two international mobility grants of the Erasmus+ COMMUNIKITE Project (2023-1-ES01- KA220-HED-000153956) are available for training courses at the University of Bologna for teaching and research staff. The training visits will take place from 26th – 28th May 2025 in accordance with the programme established by the aforementioned institution on the theme “Teaching methodologies to FL absolute beginners”.

Workshop program

Dissemination activities

Dissemination activities consist of two major events: the first one, the Glocal dissemination event, aims at generating a local and international, academic, and social network, which allows to disseminate the products of WP2 and at the same time to establish a dialogue between the different social actors. The second, the  Outreach event (Flying the KITE), aims at sharing the products of WP2 and WP3 as well as the final results of COMMUNIKITE.
