Temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees gets extended

This summer, UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) was celebrating great news of direct relevance to our project: temporary protection for refugees from Ukraine had been renewed for another year by the European Union. More than four million refugees fled Ukraine until April 2024 and have been taken in by many of the countries that make up the European Union, mainly Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
