On June 25th at 6:00 PM, the Centro Internacional del Español (Salamanca) is hosting a special afternoon dedicated to linguistic and cultural inclusion under the title “Palabras que rompen el hielo” (Words That Break the Ice. Resources for Linguistic and Cultural Integration).
The event is part of CommuniKite, a project coordinated by the University of Salamanca and co-funded by the European Union (Erasmus+ KA220-HED project), which aims to develop resources for linguistic and cultural integration.
Programme:
- The launch of the guide “Enseñar con Kite. Actividades prácticas para promover la inclusión lingüística y cultural”, a practical resource for educators working in multilingual and multicultural contexts.
- A screening of the short film Cafuné, nominated for the Goya Awards.
- Testimonies from two local NGOs will share their firsthand experience working with migrants and refugees.
- A guided visit to the exhibition “El peso de mi mochila” (The Weight of My Backpack), organised by Cáritas Salamanca, Cepaim, Cruz Roja, Diaconía, Salamanca Acoge, and YMCA.
